A Season of Joy, Connection & Creativity
Where has the time gone? We’ve stepped into 2026 and what a wonderful start it’s been! From Christmas crafts to Valentine’s hearts, baking sessions to mini-Olympics, our clients have been busy, creative, and full of laughter. Here’s a look at some of the beautiful moments we’ve shared together at Memory Lane.
Planting & Growing Hyacinth Bulbs
As Christmas drew near, we took a moment to slow down and connect with nature. Our clients planted hyacinth bulbs together and then watched with delight as they grew and bloomed over the following weeks a beautiful reminder that good things take time, patience, and a little care.
Cute Little Snowmen
Our creative skills were in full swing as we crafted adorable snowmen together. Each one had its own personality, no two were the same! There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and proud moments as everyone admired their handiwork. A perfect festive activity to get into the Christmas spirit.
Woven Hearts for Valentine's Day
Love was certainly in the air at Memory Lane this February! To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we created beautiful woven paper hearts together. The repetitive, calming process of weaving is wonderful for focus and wellbeing and the results were just as lovely as the people who made them.
The Memory Lane Bake Off!
Watch out, Paul Hollywood, Memory Lane has talent! Our baking sessions focus on simple, repetitive skills that are both enjoyable and meaningful. The process of mixing, rolling, and creating engages both the hands and the mind. And the best part? The results were absolutely delicious. Every bite was a team effort to be proud of.
Memory Lane Olympics - Skittles Edition!
Step aside, Paris — the real games were happening right here! Our Memory Lane Olympics featured a fantastic round of skittles, complete with great shots, friendly competition, and plenty of celebratory cheering. The competitive spirit was alive and well, and everyone was a winner on the day!
Singing for the Mind - The Magic of Music
Music holds a very special place in our daily routine at Memory Lane. Every single day, we make time for singing, instruments, and music — and the results are magical. Musical memory often remains strong even when other language skills have changed. A familiar song can light up a face, spark a memory, and lift the whole room. That is the true power of music, and we treasure every moment of it.
